বিশালতায় যে জাহাজের কাছে টাইটানিকও নেহায়েত শিশু!

বিলাসবহুল বিশাল জাহাজের কথা উঠলেই আমাদের মনে পড়ে টাইটানিকের কথা। তবে ‘ওয়েসিস অফ দ্য সিজ’-এর আয়তনের কাছে টাইটানিকও নেহায়েত শিশু। টাইটানিকের তুলনায় আকারে ৫ গুণ ‘ওয়েসিস অফ দ্য সিজ’।

২ লক্ষ ২৫ হাজার ২৮২ টন ওজনের এই জাহাজটি লম্বায় ১,১৮৭ ফুট, চওড়ায় ২০৮ ফুট। এ ছাড়াও জলের নীচে প্রায় ৩০ ফুট কাঠামো রয়েছে এই জাহাজটির। ‘এসটিএক্স ইউরোপ’-এর তৈরি এই যাত্রীবাহী বিশাল জাহাজটির মালিকানা রয়েছে রয়্যাল ক্যারাবিয়ান ইন্টারন্যাশনালের হাতে। 

The vessel weighing 2, 25, 282 tonnes is 1,187 feet in length and 208 feet in width. In addition to this, the vessel has about 30 feet of structure under the water. The 'STX Europe' is a luxury cruise ship owned by Royal Caribbean International.

জানা গেছে, এটি তৈরি করতে খরচ হয়েছিল প্রায় দেড়শো কোটি ডলার। ২০০৬ সালে ‘ওয়েসিস অফ দ্য সিজ’-এর নির্মাণের কাজ শুরু হয়। ২০০৮ সালের নভেম্বরে প্রথম পানিতে নামে বিলাসবহুল এই জাহাজটি। ২০০৯ সাল থেকে যখন প্রথম বাণিজ্যিক ভাবে যাত্রা শুরু করে ‘ওয়েসিস অফ দ্য সিজ’। 

It is known that the cost to make it was approximately 1.5 billion dollars. In 2006, the construction of 'Oasis of the Seas' started. The ship, named after the first water in November 2008, Since 2009, when the first commercial venture started 'Oasis of the Seas'.

তখন আয়তনের বিচারে এটিই ছিল বিশ্বের বৃহত্তম যাত্রীবাহী জাহাজ। এখন অবশ্য বৃহত্তমর শিরোপা দখল করেছে রয়্যাল ক্যারাবিয়ান ইন্টারন্যাশনালের আর একটি প্রমোদতরীর দখলে। নাম ‘হারমোনি অব দ্য সিজ’। ২০১৭ সালের জুনে জলে ভেসেছে জাহাজটি। এটি ‘ওয়েসিস অফ দ্য সিজ’-এর চেয়ে মাত্র আড়াই ফুট লম্বা।

This was the largest passenger ship in the world in terms of volume. Now it has captured the biggest title of Royal Caribbean International, and another comedy occupation. The name 'Harmony of the Seas'. The ship floated in June 2017. It's just two and a half feet tall of 'Oasis of the Seas'.

‘ওয়েসিস অফ দ্য সিজ’ জাহাজটিতে রয়েছে ১৬টি ডেক এবং ২,৭০০টি বিলাসবহুল কেবিন। মোট ৫,৪০০ যাত্রী বহনে সক্ষম জাহাজটিতে রয়েছেন মোট ২,১০০ জন কর্মী। জাহাজের পিছনের অংশে রয়েছে ৭৫০টি আসন বিশিষ্ট থিয়েটার, রয়েছে চারটি সুইমিং পুল।

There are 16 decks and 2,700 luxurious cabins in the 'Oasis of the Seas' ship. A total of 2,100 employees in the vessel carrying 5,400 passengers. The rear portion of the ship has a 750-seat theater, with four swimming pools.

এছাড়াও ‘ওয়েসিস অফ দ্য সিজ’-এ রয়েছে একটি আস্ত ভাসমান উদ্যান। যেখানে ১২ হাজার চারা গাছ এবং ৫৬টি বড় গাছ রয়েছে। মোট ৭টি ভাগে বিভক্ত ‘ওয়েসিস অফ দ্য সিজ’-এ রয়েছে সেন্ট্রাল পার্ক, পুল, ফিটনেস সেন্টার, একাধিক পানশালা, রেস্তরাঁ, ক্যাসিনোসহ একাধিক বিনোদন কেন্দ্র।

‘ওয়েসিস অফ দ্য সিজ’-এ চড়ে উত্তর ক্যারিবিয়ান সাগরে মোট ৯ রাত আর ৯ দিন ঘুরতে হলে গুণতে হবে ১,৪৫৮ মার্কিন ডলার বা প্রায় ৯৫ হাজার টাকা। আর প্রমোদতরীটির সি ফেসিং স্যুটগুলির ভাড়া ৩,২০০ মার্কিন ডলার বা প্রায় ২ লক্ষ ৮ হাজার টাকা।

তবে একটা কথা। টাকা থাকলেই টিকিট মিলবে, তা কিন্তু মোটেই নয়। ‘ওয়েসিস অফ দ্য সিজ’-এ বিলাসবহুল বিনোদনের স্বাদ পেতে প্রায় দেড় থেকে দু’বছর আগেই বুকিং করতে হবে আপনাকে।

There is also a small floating garden in 'Wesis of the Seas'. There are 12,000 plants and 56 big trees. A total of seven divisions comprise the 'Wesys of the Seas', which include Central Park, Pool, Fitness Center, Multiple Bars, Restaurants, Casinos, and many entertainment centers.

If the nine-night and 9-day walks in the North Caribbean Sea are mounted in 'Oasis of the Seas', it will cost $ 1,458 or about 95 thousand taka. And the C-suiting suites for the proceeds will cost 3,200 US dollars or about 2 lakh 8 thousand taka.

But one thing. Tickets will be available only if they have money, but not at all. You will have to book around one and a half to two years before enjoying luxurious entertainment in 'Oasis of the Seas'.
