সচরাচর এমন সাপ দেখা যায় না। সারা শরীর দুধের মতো ধবধবে সাদা। আর কুচকুচে কালো একজোড়া চোখ। সাধারণত গাঢ় বাদামি রঙের হয় স্লটি গ্রে নামে এই সাপ। বিশেষজ্ঞরা বলছেন, জিনের (জীবের বৈশিষ্ট্যের ধারক) অদ্ভুত পরিবর্তনের ফলেই সাপটির এমন রং।

পরে পার্ক কর্তৃপক্ষ সাপটির ছবি সামাজিক যোগাযোগের মাধ্যম ফেসবুকে প্রকাশ করে। সেখানে বলা হয়, সাপটির শরীরে স্বাভাবিক রঙের অভাবই সেটির রং সাদা হওয়ার কারণ। 

Experts say that the snake lives so long, it is astonishing. Because of lack of normal color in the body, it can not mask. As a result, the attackers could easily become victims.

বিশেষজ্ঞরা জানান, সাপটি এত দিন বেঁচে আছে, সেটা আশ্চর্যের বিষয়। কারণ, শরীরে স্বাভাবিক রঙের অভাবের ফলে সেটি ছদ্মবেশ নিতে পারে না। ফলে সহজেই পরিণত হতে পারত আক্রমণকারীদের শিকারে।
